Abundance
Ample resources for doing what one needs to do when one needs to do it.

Addiction

The compulsive need for a substance, person or activity that diminishes one's essence.

Affirmation
A building block of consciousness responsible for strengthening one's essence. Examples: 'Love is guiding my life" and "In joy, harmony and safety, I enter the unknown".

Astral plane
A realm of existence outside of time, which vibrates at a higher frequency than the physical plane and contains free-floating energies and entities; home of the emotional body.

Aura
The invisible energy field surrounding all matter and easily affected by energies, including those emanating from one's thoughts, feelings and environment; the place where illness first manifests.

Bleedthrough
Overflow from an unintegrated past lifetime that impedes one's ability to be fully conscious in this lifetime.

Chakra
One of seven major energy centres in the auric field that corresponds to a place in the physical body and is triggered by the recall of past life traumas; a point of attachment for a psychic cord.

Co-arising
An energetic principle that guarantees emergence of the polar opposite of whatever one is affirming. Example: While affirming love, fear will arise.

Conscious feminine
Energy associated with receptivity, nurturing, acceptance and surrender, as expressed by a woman or a man; a dynamic portrayed by the left side of the body.

Conscious masculine
Energy associated with the intellect, independence, focus and action as expressed by a man or a woman; a dynamic portrayed by the right side of the body.

Conscious mind
An aspect of the rational self that filters, weighs and analyses, gatekeepers of the subconscious mind.

Consciousness
A reflection of the state of the soul; a memory lens through which one focuses their attention, guides their intuition and directs their being.

Cord

Cosmic report card
An evaluation of one's performance in terms of soul purpose, soul qualities, life lessons and placements on the soul continuum; a curriculum review compiled in soul space after a physical embodiment.

Defence
A personality dynamic caused by the failure to have one's expectations met in childhood. Examples; resistance, projection, denial.

Dissociation
Avoiding painful feelings by energetically splitting off from the physical body.

Double bind
A lose-lose situation that prevents alignment with one's soul purpose; a communication pattern suggesting the suppression of painful memories.

Emotional incest
A situation in which parents or guardians consciously or unconsciously use a child for the fulfilment of their own emotional needs; a dysfunctional family pattern that, while unhealed, causes an energy blockage.

Energy blockage
Energy trapped in the body as a result of fear or trauma.

Energy frequency
The rate of vibration of a thought, belief or feeling. Negativity and depression vibrate at a low frequency; healing and joy at a high frequency.

Entity
A disembodied or astral energy which attaches itself to a living person.

Essence
Core of the soul; that which remains when the personality has been transformed; one's connection to eternity.

Etheric
The energy residing in a field immediately beyond the physical.

Evolution
The journey of the soul as it seeks growth through time and space.

Guide
A being who offers assistance from the world of spirits; a spiritual mentor who is attracted by one's needs, lessons and energy frequency.

Harmony
A state in which the spirit can manifest in matter.

Healer
A person who serves as a resource for the source.

Inner child
The part of a person that remains alive, spontaneous, creative and intuitive regardless of chronological age or psychological history. Reclaiming the wounded child is a stepping-stone to forgiveness.

Intention
Focused attention derived through activation of the will. Lack of intention leads to confusion and failure.

Internal dialogue
The kinesthetic communication channel that connects one to inner voices from past authority figures. Engaging in internal dialogue keeps a person out of touch with her authentic feelings and her true self.

Intuition
The silent voice of spirit that connects the human self with the essence self.

Karma
The measure of an individual’s connection to a separation from his essence. Also fulfilment of the law of causes and effects carried over from a lifetime to the next.

Karmic board
A council of beings who review the karmic records of humanity and decide whether or not individuals have learned their lessons; a body authorised to grant pardons and rewrite the karmic records.

Kinesiology
A technique for tracking information; specifically, the use of muscle testing to determine whether an energy field is strengthened or weakened by a particular object, substance or relationship.

Learned limitation
An internalised half-truth that prevents alignment with one's soul purpose.

Life lesson
A course of instruction to be learned over the course of a lifetime.

Matching pictures
A situation in which the healer has an unresolved issue similar to that of their client.

Matter
A condensed form of energy.

Mismatching
A problem in understanding caused by the use of different communication styles.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)
A technique for tracking information; specifically, the use of sensory cues to evaluate how the brain receives, stores, processes and retrieves information.

Organising principles of the soul
Soul values that form the foundation of one's being.

Past programming
The "shoulds" instilled by past authority figures and acculturation; focal point of internal dialogue that obstructs access to one's true feelings.

Personality
The totality of an individual's limited beliefs from past programming that fosters a sense of alienation; often synonymous with ego.

Personality aspects
A defence, resistance or projection that keeps an individual out of alignment with her essence. examples; anger, control, doubt, impatience, jealousy.

Personality groove
An unconscious pattern of behaviour rooted in learned limitations. If unchallenged, a personality groove will obstruct one's capacity to choose and to change.

Polarity
The result of a split in consciousness, causing a dualistic perception. Examples; positive/negative, masculine/feminine, abundance/scarcity.

Power
The energetic surge that arises when one is in harmony with their deepest truths; the capacity to manifest one's desires.

Psychic cord
An energetic attachment to people or places. Psychic cords connect to the chakras, disrupting the individual’s energy flow.

Resistance
Unwillingness to move forward and align with essence.

Root cause
The originating circumstances of an issue. Resolving the root cause provides the greatest opportunity for healing.

Soul
The "divine spark" within an individual that contains the cosmic blueprint for their earthly evolution.

Soul affiliation
An allegiance to a being of another dimension. Examples: devas, elemental, inner earth being, angels, space beings.

Soul agreement
A contract made prior to physical incarnation to further the growth of all participants. A soul agreement may be formed independently or between two or more parties.

Soul continuum
The evolutionary path marking a soul's growth and development.

Soul empowerment
A method of healing that aligns an individual with his essence.

Soul family
A group that shares the same energy frequency and has agreed to work together.

Soul purpose
An inner directive that activates the experience and expression needed for the continued growth of the soul. Examples: communication, emotional development, healing and love.

Soul quality
Individualised aspects of spirit that promote healing. Examples: creativity, flexibility, forgiveness, gentleness, self-love.

Soul quality retrievals
A technique used to call back aspects of the soul that one has judged, condemned, or sent away; reintegration promotes wholeness and healing.

Soul space
The dimension that a soul inhabits between lifetimes.

Spirit (Latin, "breath")
The all-knowing, ever-present divine, which gives the breath of life.

Spiritual bypass
A personality strategy used to short-circuit the experience of pain or loss.

Split
Polarity thinking; an either-or dichotomy preserved by consciousness.

Subconscious mind

The non-judgmental aspects of consciousness that retains a complete record of one's experience on the earth plane; information is accessed through suggestion.

Superconsious mind
The portion of consciousness responsible for unlimited intuitive wisdom and direct insight into the true nature of things.

Synchronicity
The coincidental occurrence of events; chance encounters; evidence that one's soul purpose has been activated.

Vow
An agreement made in the present or a past lifetime that continues to exert an influence.

Will
The inner drive to become conscious of oneself as a multidimensional creator and creation; the mediator between mind and emotions; an energy-dependent force that gains stamina as it is exercised.
